Nigerian Presidency Begs for Ebola Drug, Obama Says Not Yet. Amidst a frightening case of the deadly Ebola Virus Disease spread in Nigeria, the Presidency has reached out to the United State government to give it some Zmapp, the experimental drug for Ebola. It is shame that we can't seem to do anything in Nigeria without foreign help, in spite of the Billions we make daily. Rather than sponsor researchers to make life better for Nigerians, our government is sponsoring pilgrims who go to those places and come back even more corrupt. Sorry Nigeria, you are serious bleeding. Anyway, President Barack Obama has turned down the request. He said it is “premature” for him to send an experimental drug for the treatment of Ebola Nigeria or any West African country. The situation is now getting critical and our government has been caught napping again... Already, the government of Liberia has declared a state of emergency amid an outbreak that shows no signs of slowing....

Gen Azazi In Trouble Over His Comment On PDP and Boko Haram President Goodluck Jonathan indicated on Saturday his willingness to summon the National Security Adviser, Gen. Owoye Azazi (retd), for linking the Peoples Democratic Party with the spate of bombings in the country. Also, the PDP in a statement cautioned the NSA to steer clear of political matters, so as to avoid making enemies for Jonathan. It scoffed at his claim that the party was to blame for the bombings in the North because of its non-adherence to democratic practices and values. Jonathan spoke on the issue while fielding questions from journalists during a visit to THISDAY to commiserate with its management in Abuja, on Thursday’s bomb attack against the newspaper. He said he would not seriously comment on the issue until he had read the script Azazi delivered at the South-South summit on Friday, and “listen to him.” The summit was held in Asaba, Delta State.Jonathan also said Nigerians should demand from Azazi ...

My Stand On Osun State Elections –Bamikole 'Banks' Omishore #OsunDecides Senator Iyiola Omisore on the campaign train My Stand On Osun State Elections – Banks Omishore #OsunDecides Truth be told, Nigerian politics is not yet at the level of ideology. Personally, I am an All Progressives Congress man and my decison to be such is based mainly on the fact that I have had the opportunity to interact with most of the leaders of APC and slowly I believe that with them Nigeria will move forward positively. Same goes for PDP, there are some real Progressives that I actually believe are doing great but the negative aspect of the party is drowning them, while some have excelled in governance and politics. That being said, as we approach the governorship election in my dear state of Osun, I pray the b...
