Boko Haram goes on Rampage; Kills Many, Burns 540 Houses. Members of Boko Haram on Monday killed scores of people and burnt about 540 houses in the Kubi and Watu areas of Michika Local Government in Adamawa State. Residents of one of the affected village Watu disclosed that many people were killed in the attack when the insurgents struck and started firing sporadically and detonating explosives in many houses. A fleeing resident of Watu Village who simply identify himself as Zira said the insurgents struck the area in the early hours of Monday before most of the residents woke up from sleep. He said most of the residents were trapped in their homes as the insurgents started shooting and putting off explosives which led to the destruction of many houses including lives. Boko Haram Agree To Release All Remaining Chibok Girls Fresh reports say that Boko Haram group has finally agreed to free all the Chibok girls for 18 sect commanders currently in detention. It would be recalled that less than two weeks ago it was reported that the insurgents had agreed to release only 30 female students abducted in April in exchange for 18 key group members.
