Here is how Femi Fani-Kayode reacted to the unfortunate incident: 60 per cent of our graduates are unemployed. 51 per cent of our people are unemployed.     APC Condemns Upsurge in Assassination, Kidnapping in Rivers   ...Demands Immediate Release of Kidnapped Journalist The All Progressives Congress (APC), Rivers State Chapter, has described as condemnable and unacceptable, the recent upsurge in assassination and kidnapping in the State. “This upsurge started with assassination of an APC Councillor and kidnapping of three PDP chieftains. With the kidnapping of popular On-Air Personality with Wazobia FM Port Harcourt, Mr. Anthony Akatakpo, famously called Akas Baba, after his home was attacked in the early hours of Thursday, March 13, 2014, the situation appears to be getting out of hand and is becoming too much for us to condone,” APC Rivers said in a statement issued by the State Interim Chairman, Dr. Davies Ibiamu Ikanya. Read Dele Momodu's Exposé On The PDP and The APC: Are you still in doubt that the race towards the 2015 Presidential election has started in earnest? Please, perish the notion. The campaign has crept in on us like a thief in the night but it is now in full bloom. Never mind the feeble groans and grunts of INEC Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega, who is only allowed to bark but cannot bite in reality. He enjoys my sympathy as a decent man who has landed a job bigger than him. All the bungled elections have only been righted by apologies and promises of better operations in the nebulous future. There is not much he can do in a nation where leaders wield the power of God and Satan at once. We have less than one year to go and by now we ought to engage in sensible discussions and dissection of what to expect...  This is more so because, Nigeria has become a besieged nation with the level of unprecedented wars of attrition going on in different parts of the countr...

As much as 350 people were sent to their early grave on Friday in an invasion by the dreaded Boko Haram sect that shook the city of Maiduguri to its foundation. As the orgy of bloodbath in parts of the North East continue with clashes  between Boko Haram insurgents and the Special Forces in Borno State, many innocent Nigerians were caught in the cross fire. The insurgents had attacked the 21 Armoured Brigade of the Nigerian Army in the wee hours of Friday and in about 12 hours, over 350 persons were killed, including the insurgents who attacked the military formation and their members who were held at the detention facility on the premises of the Brigade headquarters. Also, the weapon stationed at the Brigade entrance to bomb trespassers failed to work. But why? Is there the possibility of sabotage from the inside? How come a critical weapon just fail...

Femi Fani-Kayode says Obasanjo “Turned His Back” on the People of Bakassi. Nigeria’s former Aviation Minister Fe mi Fani-Kayode has been known over the years to be vocal about issues concerning the nation. Fani-Kayode, who is currently undergoing trial for money laundering charges, claims in a recent article posted on his Facebook page that former President Olusegun Obasanjo turned his back on the people of Bakassi. He goes on to compare the former head of states to Russia’s Vladimer Putin and Britain’s Margaret Thatcher . Read; If President Olusegun Obasanjo had displayed just half the courage, firm resolve and strong determination over the Bakassi matter as President Vladimer Putin did over the Crimean crisis and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher did over the Falkland Islands dispute, the Bakassi Peninsular and all it’s people would still have been part and parcel of Nigeria today. The people of the Crimea want to be part of Russia and not the Ukraine just ...
