A woman who was supposed to travel abroad today (Thursday) has tragically lost her life after she was hit by a speeding car. She was killed in an early morning auto crash resulting from reckless driving in Lagos. Senegalese soldiers enter Gambia to force Jammeh out The Senegalese troops have reportedly entered The Gambia in protection of the just sworn-in Adama Barrow as the president of the country, the BBC has reported. Jammeh is to be forced out of office The soldiers have also launched strikes against Gambia in a move to force out the sit-tight Yahya Jammeh, who has refused to vacate the presidential seat after 22 years in office. November 07, 2016 Cult Members Kill Final Year Student Over Girlfriend Bad guys, suspected to be cult members, on Saturday unleashed mayhem in the Ijagun, Ijebu Ode area of Ogun State, during which they killed a final-year student of the Tai Solarin University of Education. The cult members, who were armed with cutlasses and guns, were said to have invaded Abapawa, an area off the campus – at about 12pm and chased students, during which the victim, Ganiyu Oloyede, was hacked to death. Oloyede was said to be a 400-level student of Social Studies in TASUED. Oloyede was hacked to death by the cult members because his girlfriend, whose name could not yet be ascertained, was beaten up by one of the cult members, and the victim had reportedly challenged the assault . Tenants and estate agents spoke to Daily Trust about it. Grace Adesewo, 36, with her husband, are expecting the arrival of their first baby. They were living in a two-bedroom apartment in a block of flats in Garki, Area 8, Abuja. The space was too small to accommodate a new baby who needs a cot and a chest of drawers among other items, first time parents would have gone all out for. A fresh drama played out at the continuation of trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra in court on Monday. The drama began when the lead defence counsel, Chucks Muoma, accused his clients of judicial misconduct, and threatened to dump them and withdraw from the case. “My lord I am the lead counsel in this matter and courtesy demands that the introduction of a new counsel should be made with my consent. “I am a very busy counsel. I am not chasing the priest, the priest is chasing me. If this counsel had come in to be lead counsel, it will be a different case, but he is coming to take away one of my clients.
