Confirmed: Apple Buys Dr. Dre's Beats Electronics For $3billion

After weeks of talks, Apple has finally acquired Dr Dre's Beats Electronics for a whooping $3billion. With this development, the popular hip-hop star has become the first Hip Hop Billionaire in the world. Big deal!
"Music is such an important part of all of our lives and holds a special place within our hearts at Apple. That’s why we have kept investing in music and are bringing together these extraordinary teams so we can continue to create the most innovative music products and services in the world,” says Apple CEO Tim Cook in a statement following the acquisition.
